There are literally thousands of uses for salt; unfortunately I feel that many of these great uses have been lost in the memories of our forefathers. My presentation of this valuable information about salt is meant to bring back the many uses of salt for our healthy futures. We must not forget these uses and that use of salt is by far more beneficial to our environment and cheaper than using the more sophisticated products that we have come to rely upon. Natural cleaning that is also excellent for you, your family, and the future. I cannot make any guarantees as to the success or results, if you try any of the tips that are suggested, but there must be something special to them since they have been handed down over the years and through many generations. Most of these salt uses have stood the test of time and the test of constant use in many households in history. Salt is a natural absorber, which means that it is able to soak up many types of liquids. As you browse through these tips you will learn that many applications involve the use of salt as the first thing you do when you have a spill. Because salt is such a ‘great absorber’ you may find that your salt is forever becoming damp when you store it in the kitchen. If you have this problem, then simply add a few grains of rice to the saltshaker or the salt container to keep it loose and ready for use in the kitchen. If you are using salt to sprinkle on food check the holes on your saltshaker that they do not allow the grains of rice to fall though. The reason behind keeping a few grains of rice in your saltshaker is that they are a terror on the teeth if they end up on your plate! Just when you thought the use of salt was limited to adding taste to your food, or softening your water, salt provides many opportunities for savings money in household chores. |
